Alaina Reed - Myspace Singer
Hello Readers. June is Officially the month of Myspace Celebrities.
I will inform you of singers/actors that I find(or that are sent to me via myspace) that I think are talented. If you know of a singer/actor that you want to see on here mesg me via myspace.
The following singer I found on while surfing on myspace.
Her name is Alaina Reed. She is only 14 years old. She is your average teenager. She loves summer, the beach,laying in the sun & of course like every teenage girl shopping. She doesn't smoke,drink, or do drugs. Before following her passion to sing she was an ice skater for seven years ! She is currently learning to play the guitar, and soon wants to learn to play the piano.
She currently doesn't have any management, but her dads helping her out.
I was lucky enough to do an interview with this talented young girl.
When did you realize music was your passion?
- Well, I've been singing ever since I could talk. I love music, when I was little I would always dance and sing along like I was performing at a concert. It's so much fun. A couple years ago, I realized that I really want to get my music noticed so I can really perform on stage and sing my songs. Music, songwriting, and singing is what I love, and I am so happy that I can share my songs with everyone.
Do you write your own songs?
- Yes (:
What inspires you to write songs?
- I write songs about different things. Most of the time I write them about a situation that happened. Sometimes I write songs giving out the message to never give up and be yourself. I love writing songs where people can relate to them.
Was your song "over you" inspired by anyone?
- Yes it was. There was a kid that I liked and he was my best friend, but he turned out to be a jerk. After the whole situation happened, I wrote the song.
What Musician inspired you to be a musician?
- The Jonas Brothers are my inspiration. They have inspired me to never give up and keep chasing my dream.
If you could make a song with any artist in the world who would it be?
- I would love to make a song with the Jonas Brothers since they're my inspiration. It would also be really cool to write and perform a song with Demi Lovato.
Who would you dream tour line up include ?
- Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Jordin Sparks, or Miley Cyrus
Can we be expecting a demo from you soon?
- I am actually working on my demo, the two songs I have up "You Can't Run", and "Over You" will be on there, also another song I am working on called "Raise Your Voice" I really think everyone will like it!
Do you have any upcomming shows?
- I am performing in a small show in June, it is at my singing teacher's house, so its not that big but hopefully really soon I will be performing at more shows! The show in June will be video taped and posted on my myspace, so everyone will be able to see it! :]
Is there anything you would like to tell your fans?
- I would like to tell my fans thank you. You guys have been so supportive and I really would like to thank you for everything! You guys mean alot to me!
If you could describe your music in one word what would it be?
- If I could describe my music in one word, it would be inspirational. Sometimes people just need some hope, and inspiration, and when they listen to my music, they can relate to it and be inspired. You can really do anything, just follow your heart and chase your dreams.
